General Information
The Traveller is designs to produce purified water were ever you are, on holiday at the holiday home at the coast, the cabin in the berg or even on safari in the Namibia Desert.
There are two models to choose from;
The Holiday Traveller convenient in a Brief case like inclusion made of durabel plastic or the Safari Traveller for the 4X4 enthusiast smartly stored in a Wolf box for convenient storage.
The Booster pump uses only 200mA per hour as it is a positive displacement pump. The Booster Pump needs a flow of water to work. This can be achieved by connecting it to a tap or place a container with the water that needs to be purified higher than the Traveller it self.
Extra fittings and adapters are included to connect to any water supply.
The Traveller is a 5 stage purifier:
· 1st Stage - Sediment Filter
The 5 Mic spun polypropylene Sediment filter removes dust, suspended solids and floating matters larger than 5 microns.
2nd Stage - Pre Carbon Filter
The Carbon Filter removes harmful chemicals and organic compounds and inorganic minerals, partly heavy metals, bad odours and tastes
· 3rd Stage - Reverse Osmosis Membrane
A 0.0001 Micron filter which removes Guardia (water born parasites), Pathogenic bacteria (E coli), Salmonella etc.
· 4th Stage - Taste and Odder Filter
Removes any remaining odours and bad tastes
· 5th Stage - Mineral Injector
Replaces organic minerals such as Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Fluoor, and Sulphates.
Operation of the Traveller
Connect the RED pipe to your water source – Tape or Container
(Different fittings and connectors are supplied)
The BLACK pipe is the discard water. Usually it is discarded into the drain or it can be recycled back to the source water.
BLUE pipe is the purified water. Store this water in a container for normal consumption.
If the Traveller wasn’t use for a period of time, run the Traveller for 15min and discard the water from the BLUE pipe. After 15min you can start to fill the container with purified water.
